Leadership 2000 is initiating a challenge to all of you great youth out there! We want to know what you can capture. Is there something happening in your community that makes it a better place? Tell us and be creative! Share with us and the rest of the nation how your action or the action of others can impact the entire world. We're interested, so here's the challenge:

This is a contest open to every classroom in Wyandotte County. As a class, you are to create and submit a 3-5 minute video that reflects how you or someone you know are making a positive impact on your community. Videos must show how young people are taking action to make the world - and their own communities - a better place. There will be prizes and recognition, so go ahead, Impact the Dotte!

Prizes include:

• $500 $750 cash prizes for three classrooms: one elementary, one middle and one high school.
• Wizard's soccer tickets for winning elementary school students!
• Movie passes for winning middle school students!
• Schlitterbahn tickets for winning high school students!
• One free night at Candlewood Suites for each winning teacher!
